"Mayor of Sidon, Engineer Mohammad Al-Saudi, received at his residence in Hlaliyah - Sidon, a delegation from the new administrative board of the Mohammad Zeidan Association for Development. The delegation was led by the President of the Association, Dr. Engineer Hatem Badee. The delegation included members: the association's consulting engineer, Ms. Haifa Al-Amin, and members of the municipal council, Dr. Hazem Badee and Dr. Nasser Hamoud, as well as the activist Rabih Al-Awji and Mr. Rabih Al-Baba.

During the meeting, the attendees discussed various activities and programs carried out by the association, focusing on heritage preservation, especially in the old city of Sidon, and the restoration of buildings there. They also discussed various activities related to social, economic, and developmental aspects, along with other programs and plans implemented by the association.

Environmental and daily life topics concerning the city and its residents were also addressed, particularly the social and livelihood conditions of the people of Sidon amidst the current economic and financial crisis that Lebanon is facing.

Engineer Al-Saudi congratulated the President of the association, Dr. Hatem Badee, and the new administrative board members, commending the efforts of Mr. Mohammad Zeidan and the association in contributing to the city's development and serving its residents. He highlighted the association's ongoing and past work in the old city of Sidon and the waterfront, encompassing restoration, rehabilitation, and maintenance activities. This is part of the association's project to protect old buildings, preserve heritage, and he wished the new administrative board success in achieving its vision and action plan for the upcoming phase."
