The Mohammed Zaidan Development Association in Sidon Continues to Oversee and Maintain Its Projects to Ensure Their Sustainability and Effectiveness

The Mohammed Zaidan Development Association in Sidon remains committed to supervising, maintaining, and following up on the projects it has implemented in the city, ensuring their continuity and effectiveness. Through regular inspection visits and necessary maintenance work, the association strives to achieve the developmental goals for which these projects were established to serve the local community.

In this context, Engineer Hatem Khodor Badaei, the head of the association, accompanied by Mrs. Rania Zaidan and Engineer Reem Al-Miari, conducted an inspection visit to "Riyad Al-Jawhari Autism Center", affiliated with the "Dar Ri'ayat Al-Yateem" (Orphan Care Home) in Sidon. They met with Dr. Saeed Makkawi, head of the orphanage, in the presence of its director, Mrs. Samira Nadr, and Mrs. Layla Nassar, director of the Mohammed Zaidan Vocational Training Institute. Discussions revolved around the conditions of both the center and the institute, as well as their needs in all aspects. The tour revealed that the Riyad Al-Jawhari Autism Center requires some maintenance work.

Additionally, the center’s director proposed an ambitious project to establish a vocational space within the center, dedicated to receiving students qualified to transition into vocational training. This initiative aims to develop their skills, empower them to work, and effectively integrate them into the job market and society.

In response, Engineer Hatem Badaei affirmed that "the idea represents an important step reflecting a developmental vision for the center." He added that "the association will study it in detail to assess its feasibility, after which an appropriate decision will be made and communicated to the center’s management."

Later, the association’s delegation visited the Mohammed Zaidan Vocational Training Institute, which supports school dropouts by providing them with vocational skills to build a better future and achieve self-sufficiency. As per their annual routine, the delegation reviewed the institute’s needs at the start of the new academic year.

The delegation requested the institute’s director, Mrs. Layla Nassar, to prepare a detailed list of all required needs to ensure a strong and productive start to the new academic year, aligning with the institute’s goals and enhancing its societal role.

The Mohammed Zaidan Association emphasizes that through these inspection visits and field tours, it reaffirms its ongoing dedication to monitoring and developing its projects across various sectors. This ensures their sustainability and positive impact on the local community, especially amid the return of safety and stability to our beloved country after a period of challenges.
