"A Success Story" – Sixth Graduation Ceremony of Mohammed Zaidan Vocational Institute in Sidon
Under the title "A Success Story," the sixth cohort of graduates from Mohammed Zaidan Vocational Institute, affiliated with the Orphan Care Association in Sidon, celebrated their graduation. The ceremony honored 90 male and female students across various vocational specializations.
For many of these students, life's harsh social and economic circumstances had been challenging. The Orphan Care Association provided them with a warm embrace, while the Mohammed Zaidan Vocational Institute became their lifeline—equipping them with professional skills to face life's burdens and launch their careers. Among the graduates were inspiring success stories of students who entered the workforce with confidence, writing new chapters in their lives.

Dr. Said Makkawi, President of the Orphan Care Association, along with members of the administrative bodies of both associations, welcomed the attendees.
The event began with a procession of graduates, followed by the Lebanese national anthem and Quranic recitations.
Mrs. Layla Nassar Ibrahim, Director of the Institute, expressed her pride in the students' achievements and encouraged them to continue their path of success. She thanked Mr. Mohammed Zaidan, the institute's founder, for his unwavering support and generosity, which played a pivotal role in the institute's success.
Asia Abu Saltaniya, an orphaned student, delivered a moving speech about her journey, highlighting how the Orphan Care Association and the Mohammed Zaidan Vocational Institute supported her in achieving her dreams. "Education is the most important tool one can have—it is the surest path to turning dreams into reality," she said tearfully.
Another graduate, Walid Al-Akoum, shared his success story: "Thanks to the training I received at the institute, I am now an independent professional with my own business." He expressed deep gratitude to the institute’s team for their dedication.
The ceremony concluded with the distribution of diplomas by Mufti Sousan, MPs Al-Bizri and Saad, Mr. Zaidan, and Dr. Badih, in the presence of Dr. Makkawi and the institute’s director. The 90 graduates received their certifications, marking the beginning of their professional journeys.
This graduation not only celebrated academic achievement but also embodied hope, resilience, and the transformative power of education in shaping brighter futures.
