The visit aimed to ensure that the work meets the intended goals of improving residents' living conditions. Dr. Badih was accompanied by a delegation including:

The delegation toured Al-Najjarin Souk (Carpenters' Market) in Old Sidon, reviewing progress on the targeted houses undergoing restoration and rehabilitation. The work adheres to the urban and heritage architecture of the Old City while enhancing the living conditions of its residents.
Dr. Badih stressed the importance of cooperation among stakeholders to maintain high efficiency and ensure the project's continuity. He noted that the work is proceeding according to schedule, with the team striving to overcome any challenges to deliver the restored houses on time.
