"Mohammed Zeidan, the head of the 'Mohammed Zeidan Association for Development in Saida,' inspected the ongoing workshop on Saida Island's 'Zeera,' located near the Marine Castle, for its rehabilitation and the restoration of the historical staircase and 'Al-Minara' lighthouse. This lighthouse serves to guide merchant ships and boats at night, preventing them from colliding with its rocks. As a maritime historical and tourist landmark in Saida, the works are nearly completed.

He was accompanied on the tour by his son, Badr Zeidan, and the president of the 'Friends of Zeera and Beach Association' in Saida, Rabih Al-Awji. Also present were engineers Najib Butrus and Reem Al-Miaari, as well as Rania Zeidan and Maria Butrus.

It's worth noting that the restoration of the historical staircase and 'Al-Minara' is part of the developmental initiatives undertaken by the 'Mohammed Zeidan Association for Development' in Saida. This aims to restore its charm at the beginning of the maritime tourism season, particularly since 'Zeera' holds historical significance as a destination for families from the old city of Saida, providing them with a natural escape. It's also frequented by sea enthusiasts for swimming and diving.

Rabih Al-Awji expressed his gratitude on behalf of the 'Friends of Zeera and Beach Association' in Saida to Mohammed Zeidan and the administrative body of the association for all the efforts and initiatives carried out by the 'Mohammed Zeidan Association for Development in Saida.' He especially emphasized the significance of the restoration works, which have revitalized 'Zeera,' particularly 'Al-Minara' and its historical staircase. These efforts have elevated it to the ranks of important maritime sites in Lebanon and turned it into a destination for swimmers, explorers, and visitors from various regions across Lebanon."
