"Mohamed Zeidan Development Association in Sidon" continues to implement various life projects in the old neighborhoods of Sidon despite all the challenges and obstacles it faces.

The association's activities in the old city (Sidon Al-Balad) include the restoration of buildings, street lighting, as well as cleaning, flushing, and waste removal from all neighborhoods. It also regularly maintains the infrastructure, cleans channels, and drains.

These efforts have positively and directly contributed to keeping the old neighborhoods of Sidon safe from floods that affected other streets and markets in the city.

Recently, a delegation from the association, directed by its patron Mr. Mohamed Zeidan, visited the Sidon Official Mixed Elementary School (Rashidiyya), as it is the only educational institution remaining in the old neighborhoods of Sidon that still opens its doors to students. The purpose was to assess the school's situation and its needs in the face of economic conditions and difficult challenges.

This visit is part of the goals that the "Mohamed Zeidan Development Association" in Sidon strives for, aiming to secure a promising future for all residents of the old neighborhoods of Sidon.

During the visit, the school's director, Mrs. Amani Hassna, presented a list of school and stationery supplies, in addition to basic requirements such as internet access, generator subscription, and office furniture including tables and kindergarten class setups. Financial support was also requested to ensure the continuity of the teaching staff in providing all educational needs for the students in the school.

Mr. Mohamed Zeidan has decided to support this school through the association by providing all the necessary supplies and offering financial assistance during the current academic year to ensure education reaches a large segment of the younger generations in the old neighborhoods of Sidon.
