Many families in Sidon, both residents and visitors to the city, found no better way to escape the scorching August sun and the rising temperatures coupled with high humidity than to flock in great numbers to "Al-Kanayat Park," owned by the "Mohammed Zeidan Association for Development," located on the Alawiyah River to the north of Sidon.

Yesterday, Sunday, "Al-Kanayat Park" was bustling with hundreds of families who came from Sidon and its surrounding area, including some from the Chouf region of the Shouf Mountains. Additionally, families from Beirut sought refuge from the heatwave and sought to spend a pleasant and affordable weekend with their families in this park, surrounded by the shade of the Alawiyah trees and enveloped by the river's waters.

"Al-Kanayat Park" serves as a refuge, perhaps one of the few in Sidon and its vicinity, that offers such a relaxing atmosphere for all family members. It is open to the public free of charge, and the "Mohammed Zeidan Association for Development" takes care of its cleanliness from all aspects while ensuring safety. The association is dedicated to maintaining a clean environment that complements the natural surroundings.

In an effort to serve the local residents and visiting families, the association also provides them with the necessary tables and chairs without any charge.
