Mr. Mohammed Zeidan received Dr. Wassim Daher, Director General of the "South Lebanon Water Corporation," at his residence in Baramieh, Sidon, accompanied by Haj Ahmad Al-Jbeili.

The visit was made to extend Eid greetings and included a discussion of the projects the corporation has implemented in Sidon and its surroundings to ensure water delivery to residents, as well as future plans for the old city. Notably, these plans involve constructing a large water reservoir that would provide residents with additional days of water supply in case of prolonged disruptions to the electric service line.

Dr. Daher praised Mr. Zeidan’s contributions to the corporation on multiple fronts, highlighting his support and initiatives, including repairing electrical generators at water stations that serve Sidon’s residents and maintaining several corporation-owned vehicles that had been out of service.

Additionally, Dr. Daher expressed admiration for Mr. Zeidan’s restoration efforts, which encompass neighborhoods in the old city and its waterfront, acknowledging the positive impact of these initiatives.
